After working with ceramics for years Malin decided to change material to metal. That was around four years ago. “I got tired of the long ceramics process and was longing to be able to start and finish a piece in the same day, which is impossible with ceramics because of the drying and firing process”. Instead of making patterns for ceramics she now makes patterns for her silk scarves. “It allows me to work with colours a lot more which is very challenging and a lot of fun”. Her best selling jewellery collections are Arch, Scale, and Leafy in either silver or brass.
Malin has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Ceramic Art from the Academy of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg, Sweden. During her studies she also studied in Norway and had an exchange period at the National Arts School in Sydney.
