Mary Lynn Podiluk is a Canadian Art Jeweller & Goldsmith who blends aural concepts with visual expression through precious metals and alternative materials. She studied both fine art and linguistics at the University of Saskatchewan and earned a BFA in Jewellery Design and Metalsmithing from NSCAD University in 2012. Her studio practice integrates her passion for art and her fascination with linguistics.
Mary Lynn has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. She has received numerous awards including a professional NICHE Award (Washington, DC) in the wedding jewellery category with her engagement ring ‘Infinite’. In 2013, as a student, she won in the teapot category with her piece ‘Metalanguage’, which now resides in the world's largest and most comprehensive teapot collection, the Kamm Teapot Foundation, which acquired the piece during SOFA Chicago in 2015. Her work can also be found in the Saskatchewan Arts Board’s Permanent Collection and the estate of Carrie Fisher.
Mary Lynn maintains a full-time studio practice in Saskatoon, SK where she handcrafts exquisite conceptual jewellery.
