The leaf of this brooch has been hand pierced in silver with 24ct gold foil applied using the keum boo technique.
A carnelian has been set into a hand fabricated bezel designed to create an acorn from the stone with the stem of the acorn forming the pin for the brooch. The stem has been decorated with small berries of 9ct gold.
