This 'Alluvial' circle pendant is a wonderful combination of gold and a Japanese metal alloy; shakudo. This black alloy is 6% gold, 94% copper. Alluvial gold refers to gold which is found beneath the surface at the bottom of a creek or stream. It usually takes the form of dust or thin flakes or nuggets. A naturally occurring gold nugget sits circled in shakudo. The earwires are of 9ct gold. This item is one of a kind, it is unable to be reproduced.
