"Winter walks around my local headlands found me consumed by our Pacific’s various and changing hues. The white and greys as the subdued winter sun tickled the cresting waves. The stoney grey of the rocky foreshore, the well washed beige of the sand. The myriad blue grey of the cool water.

There was a particular day on which I noticed the season’s change. The light warmed. Sand newly golden, sky blue, the ocean clear turquoise…teal…aqua.

And so I was drawn to a collection of pieces in Australian blue gemstones. Opal the most appropriate place to start."

The result is this stunning blue Queensland (Australia) boulder opal, bezel set in .925 sterling silver on a silver chain. If you would like the chain length altered, please advise and we are happy to adjust free of charge.
