This is a unique, bold and powerful statement ring with an archaic feel, hand fabricated by the artist in her studio. 

A beautiful, blue-green, rose cut moss aquamarine, set in an irregularly shaped, 24K gold bezel is the focal element of the design. 

The stone is presented on a raw slab of sterling silver, created by shaping melting silver while red hot, imprinted with the organic texture of the carbon block used by the artist when working with the flame. 

A single 18K gold disc roots and balances the elements of the setting. 

The band was richly textured to match the look, the surface patterns are accentuated by a deep dark patina and the ring is marked with a maker's stamp.
