This ‘Alluvial’ circle pendant is a wonderful combination of gold and a Japanese metal alloy: Shakudo. This black alloy is 6% gold and 94% copper. Alluvial gold refers to gold which is found beneath the surface at the bottom of a creek or stream. It usually takes the form of dust or thin flakes or nuggets. A naturally occurring gold dragon sits circled in shakudo and 18k yellow gold. The .925 sterling silver chain has been oxidized black and has a gold fob.
