The ‘Alluvial’ ring is a stunning combination of gold and a Japanese metal alloy; Shakudo. This black coloured alloy (6% gold, 94% copper) has been added to a 18k gold band. Alluvial gold refers to gold which is found beneath the surface at the bottom of a creek or stream. It usually takes the form of dust or thin flakes or nuggets. Alluvial gold in it’s natural state has been added to the bowl of the ring which creates a beautiful aesthetic. This item is a one of a kind and it is unable to be reproduced.
