These ‘Alluvial’ stud earrings are a gorgeous combination of gold and a Japanese metal alloy; Shakudo. This black alloy (6% gold, 94% copper) forms the small bowl with gold ear posts. Alluvial gold refers to gold which is found beneath the surface at the bottom of a creek or stream. It usually takes the form of dust or thin flakes or nuggets. Alluvial gold in it’s natural state has been added to the bowl which creates a beautiful aesthetic. This item is a one of a kind and it is unable to be reproduced.
