Carnival Blue Ring

This super big boom bang Carnival Blue Ring is one of the biggest I’ve ever made. Fabricated in resin and silver, it’s been carved and painted by hand, inlayed with resin, giving it a shiny texture effect. The chosen palette includes blue, cyan, black and gold colors. Big yet light and comfortable to wear, this ring is adjustable and would easily suit sizes from 13 to 18 (interior perimeter from 53mm to 58mm). It is part of the Garabatos Collection (meaning scrawls in spanish). Like the scrawls one draws on a napkin while talking on the phone or attending a boring meeting, I just let my hand flow freely. My inspiration comes from street culture, traditional Andean dance costumes and local festivities in Chile. Each piece is made from scratch, nothing is made en masse. A new mold is created, and all painting and finishing is done by hand. Whilst I take care to have the same patterns, colours and designs, the nature of handcrafted means that there may be slight variations in each piece. Please keep in mind that the picture is referential. Each piece will always be beautiful.
