Oculus Sinister is a brooch that refers to the left eye and the historical relationship between jewellery and spiritual protection from malevolent forces such as the evil eye. This large brooch was “drawn” (hand-fabricated) using various thicknesses of responsibly sourced sterling silver wire and recycled sheet metal. It also features a repurposed ammonite fossil and a repurposed crystal opal.
