Eclectic Artisans' online gallery introduces our latest arrivals, and welcomes our new Swedish artisan, Malin Jansson, to our growing collective of 110 invited artisans who represent 30 countries across the globe.
EA is excited to welcome Malin Jansson from Sweden to our family of talented artisans. Malin makes bold contemporary jewellery in silver and brass, mostly necklaces, bracelets and earrings. She also designs digitally printed scarfs in 100% silk. In both areas Malin is inspired by architectural details, structures in nature and combinations of materials and colours. Below are two lovely items from her new gallery.

Her imaginative work is quite awe-inspiring. See below.
Bound fragments of a novel and hammered sterling silver findings form the acorn shape of these lightweight earrings for lovers of nature and books. The slightly fanned book pages look delicate but can with stand some raindrops as they are laminated to make the paper hard and waterproof.
Wall Hanging Face Sculpture LOTTA This book face sculpture is composed of hand carved and shaped book pages, bound into a cover of fine anthracite goat leather. The cutting edges are slightly painted to highlight the eye area. The face shows different expressions as one passes it because of the fanned pages. True artistic magic! |
